Jack Taylor
Owner and Founder
Jack received his degree in Earth Sciences from Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK. He has over 30 years of industry experience in seismic rock properties, pore pressure, geomechanics and quantitative seismic analysis.
In his early career he worked with seismic technology and geophysical service companies in Europe, the Middle East and North America, focusing on seismic velocity analysis and 3-D velocity modeling building. He subsequently became interested in the impact of pore pressure and stresses on seismic data attributes and his career transitioned to one focused on deep water well delivery with independent energy companies in the United States. More recently he has focused his attentions to the application of geomechanics for optimized field development, both onshore and offshore. Jack is a big proponent of leveraging 3-D shared earth modeling technology to integrate geoscience and engineering data to better understand the subsurface.
